Ardevid.my.id - Jakarta: Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI), Zainudin Amali suddenly became a news presenter or News Anchor program 'Metro Siang' with the theme: Special 21st Anniversary of Metro TV at Studio 1 Metro TV, Thursday (25/11) afternoon .

Initially, the Metro Siang program was hosted by Metro TV presenter, Kevin Egan, by reading some of the latest information in Indonesia. However, in the next segment entitled 'Sport Corner, Suddenly Anchor with Menpora', Menpora Amali guided the event by reading some of the latest news related to sports.

"Viewers have some information that we will present in the sport corner," said Menpora Amali, showing his expertise in reading news.

One of the news that was read by Menpora Amali was information about the Indonesia Open 2021 which is currently taking place in Nusa Dua, Bali. Amali reported that the mainstay of Indonesia's men's singles, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, in the first round of the 2021 Indonesia Open. Besides that, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan also ran aground in the round of 32.

In addition, Menpora Amali even guided the live report with Olivia Marbun who was at the Indonesia Open 2021 location. To Olivia Marbun, Menpora asked a number of questions about the match and the development of the Indonesia Open 2021. Among them related to the health protocols implemented during this match.

"We know that we are playing a match in the midst of a pandemic. How is the implementation of the health protocols there," asked Menpora Amali.

Answering the question, Olivia explained that during the Indonesia Open 2021 match, strict health protocols were applied where all participants were in the babbl system. There are around 256 athletes and a total of 667 people are involved in this activity

"All participants must carry out strict health protocols by wearing masks every day and doing PCR and antigens every time they enter the competition arena," he reported.

The next news that was conveyed by Menpora Amali was related to the soccer test match between the Indonesian national team against Myanmar at the Gloria Sports Arena, Turkey, on Thursday today.

After reading the news, the presenter of Metro TV, Kevin Egan, asked how Menpora Amali felt when he played the role of a television news reader.

"It's extraordinary, we have just witnessed the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia who today suddenly becomes the News Anchor of Metro TV. How does Pak Amali feel to be the News Anchor of Metro TV?,” he asked.

"Yeah, I think it's easier to be a minister," Amali replied.

However, according to Kevin Egan, as the first person to read the news, Menpora Amali is already quite good, both in terms of intonation and articulation.

According to Menpora Amali, he did not do any special training, but because the news he was reading was sports news which was his interest and favorite, so things went smoothly.

"Maybe because of the sports news, I already know the story about badminton and then the national team which is being tested in Turkey. So when I was asked to deliver news about badminton and the national team in Turkey, I was not too unfamiliar with the story," he said. (ded)
